Sermon: Always on Mission (Acts 28:17-31)

* Listen to the message above.

“Let’s pick up the torch and run with it, carrying this good news of Jesus.”

In the final scene of the book of Acts, Paul proclaims the gospel to local Jewish leaders — the type of people who had been his enemies in the past. Though a prisoner of Rome, he freely invites them into God’s kingdom.

Paul knew that this amazing message is for everyone, and that God’s work in the world is bigger than any single person or any difficult circumstance. Will we as Christians today follow his example, take up the torch, and proclaim the gospel boldly? (Listen to more messages on Acts.)

Delivered by Pastor Nathaniel on February 2, 2020 at Cedar Rock First Baptist Church.
