“One cool Sunday morning, two thousand years ago, Jesus rose from the grave. Why? So that we who were sinners could become saints. So that we who deserved death could receive life. So that we who were enemies of God could become his children. So that we who were destined for hell can now be destined for eternity with God.”
The angel’s announcement that Jesus had risen from the grave was the announcement that changed history, as you learn in the Easter message.
